KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Dr. Jessaca Spybrook and Dustin Anderson of É«É«À² Michigan University, along with Dr. Rebecca Maynard of the University of Pennsylvania, recently had an article accepted for publication in . Spybrook and Anderson are a professor and an advanced doctoral student, respectively, in the evaluation, measurement and research program in É«É«À²'s College of Education and Human Development. Maynard is a university trustee professor of education and social policy at the University of Pennsylvania.

Educational Researcher is a premier journal of the American Educational Research Association with an impact factor of 4.0 in 2017. The article, entitled REES: A Registry of Efficacy and Effectiveness Studies in Education, examines the potential of preregistration as a strategy for increasing transparency in education studies. Further, it introduces REES, a new registry specifically geared towards education studies. Spybrook, Anderson and Maynard led the development of REES which was funded by the Institute of Education Sciences.
