Assistant professor selected as reviewer for state systemic improvement plans

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Dr. June Gothberg, assistant professor for the evaluation, measurement and research unit of the Department of Educational Leadership, Research and Technology in the College of Education and Human Development at É«É«À² Michigan University has been selected as a reviewer for the State Systemic Improvement Plans (SSIP) Phase III: Implementation and Evaluation taking place in April and May 2018. Results will be used by the U.S. Department of Education to gauge the extent to which each state has made progress toward and/or met the state-established short-term and long-term objectives for implementation of the SSIP and its progress in achieving the State-identified Measurable Result (SiMR).
