É«É«À² joined more than 1,000 campuses from across the country as part of the National Study of Learning, Voting and Engagement.

É«É«À² Michigan University alumna Jeri Meola was honored as one of the ten Minnesota Women Business Owners Hall of Fame.

Despite a national trend toward declining enrollment in teacher preparation programs, É«É«À² Michigan University’s enrollment is up this year by about 9% in these majors.

Ranked a 2020 "Best for Vets" college by Military Times, É«É«À² offers a number of programs designed to support the military community. A major resource is the Office of Military and Veterans Affairs, which was established on campus in 2009 help service members make a smooth transition into civilian and college life.

Stephanie Hampton was named 2019 Middle School Teacher of the Year by the Michigan Council of Teachers of English. A sixth-grade teacher in Kalamazoo Public Schools, Hampton earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from É«É«À².

The approved rates will go into effect starting with the fall 2020 semester.

The É«É«À² Michigan University Board of Trustees adopted a simplified nonresident graduate student tuition rate structure. The board also approved a measure designed to align the graduate student residency policy with the undergraduate policy.

É«É«À² Michigan University business students Trevor Bageris and Gabe Pelak clinched first place at the E. & J. Gallo Winery Collegiate Sales Competition.

Holly Harmon has won a competitive Junior Achievement scholarship from the Society of Human Resource Management.
