KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擶ith generous assistance from Kalamazoo's Family Health Center, Sindecuse Health Center is organizing the distribution of 5,400 free COVID-19 tests for the campus community. The tests are provided by the Health Resources and Services Administration, an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Test kits will be distributed to the College of Aviation, College of Health and Human Services and College of Engineering and Applied Sciences as well as in residence halls, the Haenicke Institute for Global Education, Office of Student Engagement, 色色啦 Athletics and Parkview and Grand Rapids campuses. Distribution will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Test distribution is not recorded, but one kit is offered per student, faculty or staff member per month while supplies last.

Visitors to Sindecuse Health Center may receive a kit by asking at the cashier station. The health center distributed 1,305 kits at Bronco Bash. The Office of Student Engagement will have a supply of kits to make available at events and student meetings throughout the fall. RSOs that wish to offer kit distribution at their events may contact the Office of Student Engagement. Please contact the main offices of other colleges or units directly to determine test availability and pickup location.

By making free and easy antigen tests available to campus community members, students, faculty and staff are able to monitor their possible exposure to COVID-19. The health center offers COVID-19 antigen tests for $25 to those who prefer to have a medical professional conduct the test or if they need documentation of a test result. Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 may call (269) 387-3287 to make an appointment with a Sindecuse provider.
