Birds on a Wire and the Advanced Jazz Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall. The performance will be preceded by a 7 p.m. discussion hosted by Dr. Robert White.

É«É«À² President John M. Dunn will spend five days—Feb. 27-March 3—covering 1,500 miles by bus to say farewell to supporters and shine a light on the University's current and emerging strengths.

Award-winning jazz trombonist Nick Finzer will perform in a free, public concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall.

The University Chorale's spring concert, free and open to the public, will take place at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at First Baptist Church in Kalamazoo.

New works by faculty composer David Colson will be performed by É«É«À² Wind Quintet, trumpeter Scott Thornburg, and pianists Silvia Roederer and Lori Sims at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 1.

"Kzoo Sings!" is a drop in, no-commitment singing event at É«É«À²'s Miller Auditorium. The February event is slated for 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.

Richards, a former secretary for student activities and leadership in Kanley Chapel and for the Center for Teaching and Learning in Waldo Library, died Jan. 8 at age 58.

Dr. Stacey Connaughton, director of the Purdue Peace Project, will discuss how to organize to prevent violence at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, in 2028 Brown Hall

Registration is open for April 1 run being held in honor of alumnus Capt. Drew Russell, who was killed in Afghanistan. All proceeds go toward a scholarship for deserving É«É«À² students.

"How to Catch Fake News Before It Catches You" is the topic of at panel discussion at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, in the Lee Honors College Lounge.

Chen-Zhang, of Portage, will serve through 2018, completing an eight-year term begun by Trustee Dana Debel, who resigned from the board last month.

Donations from retired faculty and staff members granted emeritus status helped 25 students defray the cost of textbooks this semester.

Currently enrolled É«É«À² graduate students are invited to make submissions by Friday, Feb. 24, for the Graduate Humanities Conference to be held on campus in March.

Applications are due Friday, Feb. 10, for É«É«À²'s annual Assessment Excellence Individual and Unit awards.

É«É«À² will hold its annual Career Fair Thursday, Feb. 9, and the Government and Nonprofit Career Fair Friday, Feb. 10. Both are in the Bernhard Center.
