Greetings Bronco Marching Band alumni!

The 2024 Homecoming was scheduled for Saturday, October 26th, 2024. It was an incredible success!

Excitement is high for next year’s Alumni Band as we continue into our second century of BMB seasons! As in previous years, Alumni Band participants will perform with the Bronco Marching Band during pre-game, in the stands, and after the game.

Friday (10/25/24)

4:00-5:40pm BMB Rehearsal @ Lawson Practice Lot (Not required, but you are more than welcome to attend!)

7:00pm Bronco Marching Band Alumni Reception (Richmond Center Lobby)

Saturday (10/26/24)

Due to required bomb sweeps prior to all ɫɫ�� football games, the stadium locks down 6 hours prior to kick-off. This requires our stadium rehearsals to take place earlier than in previous years. This is an example of last years schedule:

8:00am-9:00am Registration/Instrument Check-out begins (Waldo Stadium/Seelye Center)

9:15am Alumni Band joins BMB on the field for "I’ve Got a Gal in Kalamazoo"

9:55am Announcements

10:00am BMB dismisses for Gameday Break

2:00pm Pre-game Concert (Kanley Track)

2:45pm March-over to Waldo Stadium

2:55pm BMB w/Alumni Band enters Waldo Stadium

3:10pm Pre-game!

3:30pm Kick-off! Beat the Eagles!

7:00pm Post-game concert

2024 Bronco Marching Band Alumni Reception (for reference)

Last year's BMB Alumni Reception was a smash and we are doing it again! Join us and your BMB alumni friends for a great social event on Friday night in the Richmond Center Lobby. There will be light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Alumni will receive a complimentary drink ticket upon arrival. 

This is a great way to reconnect with those that you served in the BMB with and to meet fellow BMB alums from other seasons. Details will be published nearer to the event date.

Parking

Please pay close attention to all parking instructions and abide by them.

Rehearsal: Park in Lot 10 (behind the stadium press box). Then, proceed into the stadium and check-in at the tunnel area to the field. After rehearsal ends, you must move your cars immediately.

Game Parking: After rehearsal, Alumni Band members should park in Lot 48.  This lot is located behind what was the Bernhard Center and is in close proximity to Kanley Track where we will warm-up prior to the game. Cars will remain parked here until after the game.

*Please note, you are welcome to park in other lots on campus, but if you choose to park in any other lot you must pay the fee for that lot.*

Music

Alumni Band members will join the Bronco Marching Band in pre-game, stands and post-game.  During pre-game, this means you will join us for “I’ve Got a Gal in Kalamazoo” and the Alma Mater (singing). Click here for the music files.

Instruments

It may be possible to borrow an instrument from the Bronco Marching Band. We have a limited supply and will accommodate the Alumni Band to the best of our ability. Please indicate that you need a school instrument in the registration form. Someone will be in touch with you to indicate if one is available.

Game Tickets

Participating Alumni Band members will get free admission to the game and sit in the stands with the Bronco Marching Band. For spouses or other guests, contact the Bronco Ticket Office at or 1-888-4-ɫɫ��-TIX. Unfortunately, we cannot provide tickets for non-participating alumni.

Attire

Rehearsal attire is casual and weather appropriate. For the game be sure to wear your Bronco Marching Band Alumni Band jacket or ɫɫ�� clothing or colors.
