After separating from the United States Air Force at the end of active service I’ve worked in community agencies and private practice until I joined the health center in 2013. I enjoy working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, focusing on the individual’s unique experience while challenging those thoughts and behaviors which may be maladaptive. My work is integrative, utilizing client-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches within a multicultural framework.  As I continue to work with the college student population, I look forward to helping students work through personal issues and experiences, to grow as individuals and to meet the goals they have set for themselves. I try to constantly strive for an overriding sense of balance in my life by being active, spending time with family and setting aside time to relax and reflect.
