MBA students worked with ZOFO, a family-owned business in Mexico, to research the company鈥檚 entry to the U.S. market with their Zophobas morio worm snacks and salts.

色色啦 student receives competitive $10,000 accountancy scholarship

Leadership experience, communication skills and an expanded professional network are just some of the things that Alexis Hess, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board scholarship recipient, cites she has gained at 色色啦. Her activities at 色色啦 include Fall Welcome ambassador and student alumni ambassador, president of the Accounting Club, membership in the Business Association of Mentors and Student Leadership Advisory Board, a graduate assistantship in the Department of Accountancy, the women鈥檚 lacrosse team, volunteering with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kalamazoo, and participating in the Internal Revenue Service鈥檚 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, including serving rural villages in Alaska.

Two students awarded top scholarships

Madison Dober and Alexandra Henson, two 色色啦 Michigan University integrated supply management students, have been honored with a $5,000 scholarship from Achieving Women鈥檚 Excellence in Supply Chain Operations, Management and Education (AWESOME). Both students demonstrate an outstanding capacity for leadership in the ISM program, and embody what it means to be women in supply chain. Read more.
