É«É«À²

Dave Marlatt is an administrative for the design center and graphic design program in É«É«À² Michigan University's Gwen Frostic School of Art. He joined the  staff in 1999. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from É«É«À².

Marlatt's poems have appeared in Poetry Northwest, Nimrod, Passages North, The Sycamore Review, The Icarus Review, The Big Two Hearted and others. His collection of poetry, A Hog Slaughtering Woman, is available from New Issues Press. Marlatt recently completed the violin craftsmanship three-year summer workshop at the University of New Hampshire working with Geigenbaumeister Karl Roy. You may hear him locally playing Irish fiddle tunes with the band Whiskey Before Breakfast.
