Three SPLS faculty members co-authored new national journal publication

Susan Piazza, Shaila Rao and Selena Protacio have a new publication in the International Journal of Multicultural Education. Their article titled, 鈥淐onverging Recommendations for Culturally Responsive Literacy Practices: Students with Learning Disabilities, English Language Learners, and Socioculturally Diverse Learners,鈥 examines culturally responsive pedagogy across the fields of special education, multicultural literacy education, and teaching English language learners.
