Opportunities abound for É«É«À² students with in-person, virtual career fairs

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—ɫɫÀ² Michigan University is connecting students and recent graduates with employers during a series of in-person and virtual job fairs beginning Thursday, Sept. 16, and running through Tuesday, Oct. 12.

Representatives from Career and Student Employment Services and the Zhang Career Center have had conversations with hundreds of employers about their hiring needs, leading to thousands of full- and part-time internships and jobs posted to the online career site .  Using this trove of resources, employers from business firms to graduate schools can reach out to É«É«À² and other area college students, as well as job seekers from the general public. Virtual fairs

  • Meet the Firms Virtual Fair —Thursday, Sept. 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. This event acquaints new and returning accountancy students with the accounting firms actively recruiting É«É«À² students. For assistance, email the Zhang Career Center or call (269) 387-2711.
  • Engineering Expo 2021 Virtual Job Fair—Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Employers from companies located in Michigan and around the country are recruiting for co-op, internship and full-time positions.   • Marketing, Sales and Food Marketing Career Night Virtual Fair—Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 3 to 6 p.m. This event features opportunities for attendees to network with employers interested in hiring marketing students and graduates.   • Business Career Day Virtual Fair—Thursday, Sept. 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is an opportunity to network with employers who are recruiting talent for a wide variety of business functions in different industries. For assistance, visit the Zhang Career Center website.

  • Finance Career Night Virtual Fair—Tuesday, Oct. 12, from 3 to 6 p.m. This is a networking opportunity for those pursuing internships and entry-level positions with a focus on finance. Attendees will hear from industry professionals representing different career paths in the finance industry and then have opportunities to network with employers.
