Michigan's Campus Sexual Assault Program has awarded É«É«À² $132,557, the most money awarded to the University in four years of this state grant program that supports efforts to help prevent sexual assault.

The boil water advisory issued Nov. 27 for the Draper/Siedschlag residence hall has been lifted.

É«É«À²â€™s Gamma Rho chapter of Beta Alpha Psi has been recognized with a Superior Status designation for the 35th time. The honor shines a spotlight on the chapter's outstanding efforts during the 2017-18 academic year.

The information sessions are set for 4 and 6 p.m. in Rooms 105/106/107 of the Bernhard Center.  

Drs. Jennifer Harrison and Timothy Palmer earned the inaugural award for how they are incorporating the Times into the Social Justice and Sustainability in India course they co-teach.

É«É«À²'s Grand Rapids locations, classes are canceled until 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26. Evening classes will remain as scheduled.

Assume the University is open and will continue normal operation unless notified.

The American Society for Legal History has awarded its Craig Joyce Medal to Dr. Sally Hadden, the first woman to receive this prestigious service award.

A team of two É«É«À² Michigan University sales students competed in the State Farm Marketing and Sales Competition in Warrensburg, Missouri, on Nov. 2, with one student taking top honors in the sales role-play category.

A new agreement between É«É«À² and Benton Harbor Area Schools will lead to school-reform experts from the University collaborating with district officials on a number of school-improvement initiatives.

This event has been canceled due to inclement weather—ɫɫÀ² President Edward Montgomery and other dignitaries will recognize the Valley Dining Center's LEED Gold certification during a brief program Monday, Nov. 26.

John Mellencamp will embark on a 2019 tour of "The John Mellencamp Show" at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, at Miller Auditorium on the campus of É«É«À² Michigan University.

É«É«À² was one of 96 institutions from around the nation named an annual Higher Education Excellence in Diversity—HEED—honoree by INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine.

Integrated supply management students placed first at this year's General Motors/Wayne State University Supply Chain Case Competition. This is the second year in a row that É«É«À² students have placed in this international competition.

É«É«À² is celebrating International Education week with a variety of fun and informative events that start Saturday, Nov. 10, and showcase the countries, cultures and global knowledge represented on campus.

The É«É«À² Board of Trustees will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the second-floor ballroom of Heritage Hall on É«É«À²'s East Campus.

This year's win marks the sixth consecutive regional championship for É«É«À² Michigan University's Sky Broncos precision flight team.

É«É«À² sales students placed first in the Thomson Reuters Sales Competition, where top sales students from the region competed. Students assumed roles as inside sales representatives selling a custom website service and placed first in team and individual standings.

Free and open to the public, the panel event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p .m. in the Multicultural Center in the Adrian Trimpe Building and is part of the Real Talk Diversity Series and International Education Week.

The candidates will make separate public presentations from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8; Monday, Nov. 19; and Monday, Nov. 26, in the Bernhard Center's North Ballroom.
