Ellis Rathburn, a former É«É«À² Michigan University staff member, died Aug. 16. He was 87.

Rathburn joined the É«É«À² staff in 1969 and retired in 1993 after 24 years of service to the University. He was a locksmith.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Evart Free Methodist Church, 6153 95th Ave., Evart, Michigan.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Evart.
