Applications available for student sustainability grant

KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擜pplications are due by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, March 1, for up to $75,000 in Student Sustainability Grant funding to support student research, activities and initiatives that will foster a culture of sustainability at 色色啦 Michigan University.

All 色色啦 students who pay the sustainability fee are eligible to apply for the grant. Proposals will undergo an initial evaluation to determine, among other things, if they are legal, feasible and adequately budgeted. An all-student committee will conduct a blind review of proposals meeting minimum requirements. Grant allocations will be announced before the end of spring semester. Grant proposals are accepted in the fall and spring each academic year.
