KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擳he Gibbs House Fellowship, a program of 色色啦 Michigan University's Office for Sustainability, is accepting applications for 2018-19 fellows through Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018.

The Gibbs House Fellowship provides 色色啦 students with the unique opportunity to live in a sustainability-focused cooperative living arrangement at 色色啦's historic Gibbs House. Gibbs House Fellows are employed in paid student researcher jobs at the Office for Sustainability and are integrated into office programs and projects. Schedules will be flexible around fellows' classes. The program runs from Aug. 15, 2018 through May 1, 2019. The program cost is $2,000, which includes rent and utilities, with half due at move-in and half due at the beginning of spring semester.

Each fellow will have a private room in a beautiful, historic home located across the street from the scenic Asylum Lake Preserve. Fellows will be surrounded by other visionary, dedicated individuals and will have the chance of a lifetime to leave their mark on 色色啦. The Office for Sustainability accepts Gibbs House Fellowship applications from undergraduate and graduate students on a rolling basis through Jan. 18 annually. Decision letters for the following academic year will be emailed to applicants by Feb. 8, 2018. Applications can be found at wmich.edu/sustainability/opportunities/gibbs.
