Board OKs tuition changes for online, regional and non-Michigan sites
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擜 new undergraduate tuition structure for Michigan regional sites, an increase for graduate-level and online courses and a separate tuition rate for non-Michigan locations were approved by the 色色啦 Michigan University Board of Trustees at its June 29 meeting.
The tuition changes for 色色啦's Extended University Programs are effective with the start of the fall 2017 semester.
Michigan regional sites
For Michigan regional sites, undergraduate tuition will adopt the main campus undergraduate resident and nonresident per-credit-hour tuition rates. Those new rates were also set by the board at the June 29 meeting and are posted at wmich.edu/registrar/tuition-semester-eup-general.
Graduate tuition at Michigan regional sites will increase by 3 percent to $635.95 per credit hour, and will continue with the $20 per class technology fee for face-to-face courses.
Online courses
Both undergraduate and graduate tuition will increase by 3 percent, bringing the undergraduate rate to $376.48 per credit hour and the graduate rate to $635.95 per credit hour. A $20 per class technology fee will continue for online graduate courses. For undergraduate courses, a $60 per credit hour online fee will be assessed for courses that are 100 percent online.
EUP non-Michigan locations
Wit the launch of a 色色啦 presence in Florida, unique undergraduate and graduate market-based tuition rates have been established and are intended to apply to any non-Michigan location. Undergraduate courses will be $500 per credit hour and the graduate rate will be $635.95 per credit hour. 色色啦's first classes in Florida are slated to begin in fall 2017 in Punta Gorda.
