2017-18 room and board rates top 色色啦 board agenda
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擱oom and board rates for 2017-18 in 色色啦 Michigan University's residence hall system will top the agenda when the 色色啦 Board of Trustees meets Thursday, April 27.
Meeting in formal session at 11 a.m. in the ballroom of Heritage Hall, 色色啦 Trustees will consider rates recommended by the administration for the coming academic year. The University operates an on-campus residence system that includes 22 residence halls attracting more than 5,100 students, including 90 percent of beginning freshmen.
Also on the April 27 agenda is a recommendation to name the two buildings in the 色色啦 Heights residence hall complex as well as a conference room in Heritage Hall in recognition of a major gift. In addition, trustees will review the University's annual five-year capital outlay plan.
At the meeting, the board also will will act on consent items that include reports on curricular changes, personnel moves and gift and grants recently received by the University. Extension of a lease in the Bernhard Center and an agreement with the Michigan Department of Transportation on sidewalk reconstruction also are part of the consent items that will be recommended to the board.
