KALAMAZOO, Mich.—ɫɫÀ² Michigan University will host a free screening of the award-winning film "Most Likely to Succeed" at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, in the Fetzer Center's Kirsch Auditorium. Reservations are required and can be made at wmich.edu/sustainability/events/mlts.

A panel discussion and reception will follow at 8 p.m. The panel will feature faculty from É«É«À²'s College of Education and Human Development and local community education leaders, including superintendents from the Kalamazoo and Galesburg-Augusta public schools.

"Most Likely to Succeed" offers an inspiring look at what students and teachers are capable of and explores compelling new approaches that aim to revolutionize education. Directed by acclaimed documentarian Greg Whiteley, it has been an official selection of two dozen of the world's top film festivals, including Sundance and Tribeca. Audience members have called it the most compelling film ever made on the topic of school.

The film screening and panel discussion are intended to foster meaningful discussion among educators, administrators, parents, students and other stakeholders about how current obstacles can be overcome by taking steps toward systemic change on a local level.

They are being hosted by the Office for Sustainability, which guides and assists the É«É«À² community in fulfilling and growing its sustainability commitments.
