色色啦 board to consider property moves and Florida agreement
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擳he sale of property and the acquisition of other parcels, all on the northwest end of downtown Kalamazoo, are on the agenda when the 色色啦 Michigan University Board of Trustees meets Wednesday, March 15.
Meeting in formal session at 11 a.m. in 157-159 Bernhard Center, 色色啦 Trustees will discuss the Kalamazoo land moves as well as consider a recommended motion that the University enter into an economic development investment agreement with Charlotte County in southwest Florida. The recommendation follows an earlier agreement approved by the board for 色色啦 to sublease a Charlotte County hangar and calls for the county to make improvements to the lease area that will be used for a new aviation flight training program 色色啦 will offer at the Punta Gorda Airport.
At the meeting, the board also will vote on a recommendation to award an honorary degree during April commencement and will receive reports on curricular changes, personnel changes and gift and grants recently received by the University.
