Four business dean candidates due on campus in coming weeks

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Four candidates for the position of dean of É«É«À² Michigan University's Haworth College of Business will visit the campus for interviews and public presentations during the weeks of Nov. 28 and Dec. 5.

All four presentations will take place in Fetzer Center's Putney Lecture Hall.

Candidates and event details

  • Dr. Don Capener, dean of the Davis College of Business at Jacksonville University—10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28.
  • Dr. Anthony Ross, professor and Rockwell Automation Endowed Chair in Supply Chain Management and founding director of the Supply Chain Management Institute in the Sheldon Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee—10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5.
  • Dr. Richard J. Buttimer Jr., senior associate dean of the Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte—presentation canceled; candidate has withdrawn.
  • Dr. John D. Mittelstaedt, professor of marketing and director of the UW Sales Initiative in the College of Business at the University of Wyoming—3:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 8.
