Marcia L. Thompson, a former É«É«À² Michigan University staff member, died April 20. She was 67.

Thompson joined the É«É«À² staff in 1997 and retired from the Human Resources office in 2010 after 13 years of service to the University.

At the time of her retirement, she was a human resources assistant. The position involved processing insurance, retirement and other benefits-related materials for É«É«À² employees.

For the first eight years of her University career, Thompson did data entry in the Office of Admissions.
