Campuswide forum explores student mental health concerns
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥斏 Michigan University administrators, faculty and staff have an opportunity to air concerns about student mental health issues and learn about 色色啦 and Kalamazoo resources during a campuswide forum Friday, Feb. 26. The free event is from 8:15 to 10:30 a.m. in the Fetzer Center.
Sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs, it includes an introduction to 色色啦鈥檚 Suicide Prevention Program and discussion on the 鈥淧roblems of Student Suicide and Increasing Mental Health Difficulties,鈥 by Dr. Kathy Lewis-Ginebaugh, program director.
President John M. Dunn will make opening remarks, and there will discussion of faculty and staff concerns about student mental health followed by a panel of campus and community resources in this area.
