"Dr. Nagel has been a tireless advocate for students," Anderson says. "She has extraordinary insight and compassion, and she addresses each student concern that comes her way with the utmost care and professionalism. We are fortunate to have her at É«É«À² Michigan University, and I am so pleased she now carries the title most closely aligned with the work she has been doing for many years."

A year later, she was promoted to director of that office and later became associate dean of students.
