Spektral Quartet
Since its inception, the Spektral Quartet has sought out the discourse between the masterworks of the traditional canon and those written this decade, this year, or this week. The string quartet invites its listeners in through charismatic deliveries, interactive concert formats, close proximity audience seating and bold, inquisitive programming.
Members of the Spektral Quartet are Doyle Armbrust, viola; Clara Lyon, violin; Russell Rolen, cello; and Austin Wulliman, violin.
The program will include "Quartet in Four Parts" by John Cage, "Polychoron(b)" by Lee Weisert and new commissions by Morgan Krauss and Chris Fisher-Lochhead.
