About the show

Titled "Nature's Embrace," the exhibit is a unique collection of landscape images that celebrate the environment. Strazdas uses Photoshop to manipulate digital photographs, presenting unusual, quirky perspectives that deviate from traditional landscape pictures.

"They aren't the stereotypical landscape picture鈥攖hey're a bit peculiar," she says, "but so am I."

Strazdas refers to the photographs in the exhibit as fun "tree-hugging images" that speak of her love for nature. She hopes that her works provoke a reaction and encourage others to be interested in the environment. In earning her degree, she concentrated in photography and "intermedia," and many of her images were displayed at the 2014 Art Prize in Grand Rapids.

The public is invited to view the exhibit from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday except for Saturday 色色啦 football home games through Friday, Oct. 30.
