Game day parking, tailgate and stadium details available
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擜 highly anticipated football home opener against Michigan State University has the 色色啦 Michigan University campus primed and ready to greet thousands of visitors to the campus for the Friday, Sept. 4, evening game.
- Most 色色啦 offices are slated to close at 2:30 p.m. to alleviate traffic and parking issues.
- Parking and tailgate areas open at 3 p.m.
- Waldo Stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. sold-out game.

Parking and stadium rules
A Waldo Stadium seating diagram and stadium rules, including a list of what can and cannot be carried into the stadium, can be found at . The site also includes information about shuttle service to the stadium along with shuttle route maps and information about handicap parking in Lot No. 4 off Oakland Drive.
General public parking is located off of Oakland Drive, Stadium Drive and West Michigan Avenue. Parking is $10 per vehicle to be paid upon entering a lot. Additional parking has been added along Oakland Drive, near the corner of Oakland Drive and Howard Street. Upward of 700 new parking spaces in the Zhang Legacy Collections area will provide good parking in close proximity to Waldo Stadium. This new parking area will be clearly marked from Oakland Drive.
Lot 105 will be the designated lot for 色色啦 students. Parking is $10 per vehicle to be paid upon entering the lot.
Shuttle services
A free shuttle service runs continuously beginning three hours prior to kickoff. Shuttles will continue to service a number of tailgating lots, with drop-offs to the stadium in two convenient locations. The first will be at the corner of Stadium Drive and West Michigan Avenue, across from Gate 1. The second drop-off will be on Oakland Drive, near Gate 4.

In addition, downtown Kalamazoo merchants are offering a free shuttle service from the downtown Kalamazoo Mall area to a stop near the University Roadhouse on Michigan Avenue near the stadium. Shuttle service will start at 5 p.m. and run until 11 p.m., with a break during the first half of the game.
