Robert I. Sundick obituary
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Dr. Robert I. Sundick, a former É«É«À² Michigan University faculty member who was involved with forensics research and applications for decades, died June 29 in Jerusalem. He was 71.
Sundick, professor emeritus of anthropology, joined the É«É«À² faculty in 1969 and retired in 2000 after 31 years of service to the University.
An expert in forensic anthropology, he was a popular lecturer and often assisted in local criminal justice investigations. Sundick served as chair of the Department of Anthropology from 1988 to 1998. He was a graduate of the State University of New York and received his master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Toronto.
