Longtime criminal justice, mental health professional joins 色色啦
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擜 longtime criminal justice, mental health and substance abuse treatment professional with more than 36 years of experience has been named the new director of 色色啦 Michigan University鈥檚 Behavioral Health Services in the Unified Clinics.
Joseph Kuchenbuch, former program director at Psychological Consultants of Michigan for the past 14 years, joined the University as Faculty Specialist I Clinical Specialist on June 15.

A 色色啦 alumnus, Kuchenbuch has worked as an adult and adolescent services coordinator and as a therapist for several years. He also has held positions with Calhoun County Juvenile and Probate courts and has worked with young people in detention at the Calhoun County Juvenile Home.
In addition, Kuchenbuch has been an adjunct professor since 2004 at Kellogg Community College, where he taught courses on substance abuse, co-dependency and family dynamics within the Human Services Department.
He earned a master's degree in counseling psychology at 色色啦 and a bachelor's degree in psychology at Albion College. He also is certified as a Limited License Practitioner, a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Certified Clinical Supervisor for Michigan by the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals.
