Marjory Spradling, 色色啦 Michigan University assistant professor emerita of biological sciences, died Feb. 12 in Kalamazoo. She was 92.

Marjory Spradling

Spradling joined the faculty in 1959 as a part-time instructor, becoming a full-time instructor in 1963. She retired from the University in 1983 after 24 years of service.

She chaired the Advisory Committee of the Department of Biological Sciences and was the curator of the bacteria and fungal cultures. She also was a member of the Faculty Senate.

Spradling earned a bachelor's degree from MacMurray College in 1943 and a master's degree from University of Illinois in 1944.

Services

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at the People's Church, 1758 North 10th St., Kalamazoo.
