Deadline approaching for spring Student Sustainability Grant proposals
KALAMAZOO鈥擜pplications are due by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, March 5, for up to $75,000 in Student Sustainability Grants, which support student research, activities and initiatives that foster a culture of sustainability at 色色啦 Michigan University.
All students who pay the 色色啦 sustainability fee are eligible to apply for a sustainability grant. Proposals will undergo an initial evaluation to determine, among other things, if they are legal, feasible and adequately budgeted. An all-student committee will then blindly review proposals meeting minimum requirements. Allocations will be announced during the first week of April. Grant proposals are accepted in the fall and spring each academic year.
Applications must be submitted in PDF format to wmu-sustainability@wmich.edu. Visit wmich.edu/sustainability/grants to access grant guidelines, review past proposals and download a grant application.
