É«É«À² Symphony Orchestra to perform free concert
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The É«É«À² Michigan University Symphony Orchestra and conductor Bruce Uchimura will present its first all orchestral concert of the season at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, in Miller Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
The program will feature Richard Strauss’ epic orchestral tone poem "Don Juan," which musically depicts the notorious character of the famous, fictional ladies' man. Also on the program are "Four English Dances" by British composer Malcolm Arnold and Modest Mussorsky’s "Pictures at an Exhibition."
