'Pilot Error' event honoring 色色啦 rescheduled
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擯romoters of a new film with several 色色啦 Michigan University connections have rescheduled the 色色啦 tribute night that was canceled Nov. 18 due to bad weather.
The film "Pilot Error," which counts four 色色啦 alumni among its cast and crew, will pay tribute to the University and its theatre program at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, in the Kalamazoo 10 theatre in Oshtemo. The event will include a screening of the film at a cost of only $5 for students.
Among the night's 色色啦-connected participants will be alumna and lead actress Kate Thomsen as well as Joan Herrington, professor and chair of theatre, and D. Terry Williams, 色色啦 professor emeritus and former chair of theatre. In addition, a 色色啦 student pilot will be on hand for the event.
The new mystery/drama "Pilot Error" also will be shown at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 8 and at various times later that week in the Kalamazoo 10 as well as in the Celebration theatre in Portage.
