色色啦 events canceled or rescheduled due to weather

KALAMAZOO, Mich.--The Nov. 18 closure at 色色啦 Michigan University and continuing bad weather have led to a number of scheduled events being canceled or rescheduled.

A list of such changes includes:

  • A celebration of five new LEED certifications for green campus buildings originally scheduled for Nov. 18 has been rescheduled to take place at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24.
  • The Real Talk Diversity Series presentation, "Living traditionally in a modern world: Native Americans of West Michigan adjusting to an ever growing and expanding world," scheduled for Nov. 18 will be rescheduled.
  • A presentation by a candidate for the position of director of admissions slated for Nov. 18 has been rescheduled. Dachea Hill, admissions director at Northeastern Illinois University will make her campus presentation at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24 in the Fetzer Center's Putney Auditorium
  • A scheduled Nov. 18 presentation by engineering dean candidate Dr. John W. Nicklow, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at Southern Illinois University and professor of civil and environmental engineering, was rescheduled for 9:30 a.m. Nov. 19.
  • The Nov. 19 noon Evaluation Cafe on "The Detroit Sexual Assault Kit Action Research Project: Developmental Evaluation in Practice," by Dr. Rebecca Campbell, Michigan State University, has been rescheduled for Feb. 18.
  • A Department of Psychology Colloquium featuring Renee Gavin, scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19 has been canceled and will be rescheduled.
