University Theatre present 'One Man, Two Guvnors'

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—ɫɫÀ² Michigan University theatre students will perform Richard Bean's Tony-nominated farce "One Man, Two Guvnors" Oct. 10-19 in the Shaw Theatre at the Gilmore Theatre Complex.

The award-winning play is a unique mix of satire, songs, slapstick and one-liners in which Francis Henshall (originally played by comedian James Corden) finds himself working for both a gangster and a criminal in hiding, who are linked in a web of schemes and romance. Two prevent discovery, Henshall must do everything he can to keep his two guvnors apart.

Directed by Mark Liermann and Stage Manager Afton Earp, this all-student cast includes Nathan Alford-Tate, Phil Vasquez, Sophie Scanlon, Curtis Elswick, Troy Hendrix, Jimmy Groce, Paige Larkowski, Chris Williams, Lauren Ufkes, Jasmine Rose, Sarah Taylor, Kurt Misteravich, Joe Sharkey, Alex Karukas, Noah King and DJ Potts.

Enjoy a free cabaret by seniors of the Musical Theatre Performance program after the show on Oct. 11, 16, 17 and 18.

Admission for the general public is $20, $18 for senior citizens and É«É«À² employees, $5 for É«É«À² students and $10 for all other students.
