Submissions for sustainability art show being taken now
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—ɫɫÀ² Michigan University students who wish to share their creative vision how they convey, express and visualize sustainability are invited to submit original artwork online to the "Re:Solution Envisioning Sustainability" exhibit through Wednesday, Oct. 15.
The juried art exhibit will run Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 19-21, in É«É«À²'s Richmond Center for Visual Arts in South Kohrman Hall. All full- and part-time É«É«À² students enrolled in the fall 2014 semester are eligible to submit digital photos of artwork by jpeg attachment to @email. There is no submission or application fee.
The exhibit, sponsored by É«É«À²'s Environmental Studies and Sustainability Program and the Gwen Frostic School of Art, features a lecture by visiting artist Garth Lenz () at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, in Room 2008 with an opening reception following from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Room K1206. A faculty exhibit will be in room K1117.
