Faculty, staff and students invited to a night at the ball park

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—ɫɫÀ² Michigan University graduate students in sport management and the Kalamazoo Growlers are joining forces to organize a É«É«À² Staff and Faculty Appreciation Night at Homer Stryker Field Wednesday, June 18. The game begins at 7:05 p.m.

Students and faculty and staff members can purchase adult admission tickets to attend the game that night for $7 each. The University, says É«É«À² President John M. Dunn, will cover the cost for children 18 and under. The offer is good for the first 300 child ticket requests from staff and faculty, with up to two child tickets available for each adult ticket purchased.

Kalamazoo Growlers

The Growlers are part of the Northwoods League and the team roster is made up of talented college athletes, including two Broncos, sophomore Brett Sunde and junior Jared Kujawa. The June 18 game will pit the Kalamazoo team against the Wisconsin River Rafters. The evening's activities will revolve around É«É«À² and will feature appearances by Buster Bronco. Buster will compete against other area mascots in a Mascot Olympics.

Tickets will be on sale on campus today through June 3, with a ticket-sales booth traveling around the campus from 11 a.m. to noon on select days at various locations.
