Miller Auditorium goes 'on the road' for Christmas shows

Miller Auditorium is presenting several out-of-town shows this holiday season.

KALAMAZOO—ɫɫÀ² Michigan University's Miller Auditorium is taking its show on the road, presenting "Sister’s Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi's Gold," Friday and Saturday, Dec. 20-21, at venues in Battle Creek, Mich., and Coldwater, Mich.

"Sister’s Christmas Catechism" will begin at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater, and at 3:30 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at the W.K. Kellogg Auditorium in Battle Creek.

In "Sister's Christmas Catechism," Sister investigates the mystery surrounding what happened to the Magi's gold. Sister retells the story of the nativity in this hilarious holiday production, assisted by a local choir and with the help of audience members.

"This is something we’ve wanted to do for awhile," says Tracey Lawie, Miller Auditorium marketing director. "To be able to reach more areas in West Michigan and bring high-quality entertainment to a wider audience is an important part of our mission."
