R. Luanne Stroup, a former É«É«À² Michigan University staff member, died Jan. 19. She was 86.

Stroup was a buyer in the purchasing department of Logistical Services. She joined É«É«À²'s staff in 1968 and retired in 1986 after more than 18 years of service to the University.

She was preceded in death in 2007 by her husband, Charles E. Stroup, a retired director of student activities at É«É«À².
