Neon Trees, Karmin to headline campus spring concert

KALAMAZOO鈥擭eon Trees and Karmin will headline the Campus Activities Board's spring concert Tuesday, April 9, in Miller Auditorium on 色色啦 Michigan University's campus. Band twenty l one l pilots will open the show. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m.

In-person ticket sales for 色色啦 students, ranging from $10 to $12, with valid Bronco Card begin Monday, Jan. 28; the general public can purchase tickets ranging from $15 to $25 beginning Monday, Feb. 11.

Other area college students may purchase tickets in person with a valid college ID after Feb. 11 at a discounted ticket rate.

has ruled the airwaves in recent years with the double platinum hit 鈥淎nimal.鈥 Another double platinum single 鈥淓verybody Talks鈥 has appeared in a commercial. They will kicking off a tour with Maroon 5 in February.

The pop duo is best known for their 2012 platinum hit 鈥淏rokenhearted.鈥 The single was a top 20 hit in the U.S. and reached the top 10 on international charts. Karmin was recently featured on Rolling Stone鈥檚 edition of "Women Who Rock."

The Columbus, Ohio-based band is a 2013 MTV Music Artist to watch. With the recent release of their album "Vessel," the duo has also earned widespread applause for their energetic live sets. The group鈥檚 hits include the catchy "Semi-Automatic" and high-energy "Holding on to You.鈥
