Luncheon planned to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day

KALAMAZOO鈥擲tudents, university employees and guests are invited to a special commemorative MLK luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, in the residence hall dining rooms and at the Bernhard Caf茅 and Market.

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Dining Services will be offering a diverse menu that represents a regional selection of dishes. Fresh menu items include corn chowder, shrimp Diane, rice and pinto beans and assorted desserts, plus curried tofu kale wraps鈥攁 色色啦 Campus Beet recipe.

Information about Dr. King鈥檚 achievements and influence, and details about his visit to 色色啦 on Dec. 18, 1963 will be featured throughout the dining rooms as part of the event. The full menu, prices and information are available on the Dining Services website at wmich.edu/dining/events.
