Robert C. Scherzer, a former É«É«À² Michigan University staff member, died Nov. 21. He was 64.

Scherzer, of Kalamazoo, joined the É«É«À² staff in 1987 and retired in 2010 after 23 years of service to the University. He was a laboratory manager in the Department of Physics.

A memorial service was held in Plainwell, Mich., in November.
