Edwin Ryba, a former É«É«À² Michigan University staff member, died Sept. 22. He was 84.

Ryba, of Bangor, Mich., retired in 1989 as assistant chief engineer for television in the Division of Academic Services after 24 years of service to the University.

He was a É«É«À² Sky Bronco as well as a ham radio operator and helped set up the radio station WJOR in South Haven, Mich.
