KALAMAZOO--Numerous examples of the scholarly work being done at 色色啦 Michigan University will be showcased Friday, April 20, on campus in the Fetzer Center as part of the sixth annual 色色啦 Research and Creative Activities Poster Day.

The free public event highlights the work of graduate students and faculty members who have previously received 色色啦's Faculty Research and Creative Activities Award. Poster presentations by these researchers and artists will be taking place from 9 to 11 a.m. in rooms 1035, 1045 and 1055.

In addition, two 色色啦 faculty members will give keynote addresses from 11 a.m. to noon in the Putney Auditorium. The keynote speakers are Dr. Katherine Joslin, professor of English, and Dr. Eli Rubin, associate professor of history. Joslin received 色色啦's 2011 Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award and Rubin received 色色啦's 2011 Emerging Scholar Award.

Research and Creative Activities Poster Day will include a noon luncheon with an awards presentation from 12:45 to 1 p.m. that will recognize this year's outstanding graduate student poster presentations.

The day is sponsored by the Research Policies Council of the Faculty Senate and the Graduate Students Advisory Committee and a variety of University offices.
