Freda C. Swinehart, a retired É«É«À² Michigan University staff member, died Nov. 22, 2011. She was 93.

Swinehart, of Kalamazoo, joined the É«É«À² staff in 1968 and worked as a housekeeper in the residence halls. She retired in 1982 after more than 13 years of service to the University. A charter member of Kalamazoo's Immanuel Lutheran Church, Swinehart and was involved in many activities over the years. Burial took place in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
