KALAMAZOO--High school juniors and their parents are invited to visit 色色啦 Michigan University's main campus Saturday, March 31, or Saturday, April 14, for the annual 色色啦 Spotlight event.

Designed exclusively for high school juniors, this free event is one of the University's largest on-campus recruiting events. Some 900 students and their parents are expected to attend one of the two open houses that have been scheduled this year.

Registrations are strongly encouraged for the open houses, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days. Activities will begin on the second floor of the Bernhard Center with pre-registration check-in as well as walk-in registration. At 10 a.m., 色色啦 President John M. Dunn will join other speakers to welcome attendees and kick off each day's activities.

色色啦 Spotlight features current 色色啦 students taking prospective students and their parents on a guided tour of the main campus so they can get a feel for what life at the University is like. In addition, attendees have a chance to check out the popular Student Recreation Center, visit a typical residence hall, hear from a 色色啦 faculty member and have lunch in a dining hall.

"This program is designed to give high school juniors a chance to become more familiar with 色色啦 and get a glimpse into campus life," says Gwen Thomas, assistant director of admissions and coordinator of the event. "Knowing the wealth of academic choices and supportive resources and services offered here allows students and their parents to make a more informed decision when it is time to choose a college."

Registration and parking

To accommodate guests on campus for 色色啦 Spotlight, free parking will be available all day March 31 and April 14 in the lots surrounding the Bernhard Center as well as in the nearby parking ramp--Parking Structure No. 1.

Visit to register for either day's open house. For more information, contact Gwen Thomas in the Office of Admissions at @email or (269) 387-2008.
