KALAMAZOO--Award-winning trumpeter, composer and É«É«À² Michigan University faculty member Scott Cowan will celebrate the release of his latest CD, "Jack's Place," with a concert at 8:15 p.m. Friday, March 16, at the Dalton Center Recital Hall.

General admission tickets are $15 and $5 for É«É«À² students with a valid Bronco Card. They are available at the door and through the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office at , (269) 387-2300 or (800) 228-9858.

The evening will feature a diverse program of original jazz compositions and arrangements by Cowan, who is an assistant professor of music at É«É«À². Performing will be: the Scott Cowan Quintet, Sextet and Octet as well as celebrated New York rhythm section Tri-fi and premiere Chicago saxophonist and É«É«À² alumnus John Wojciechowski.
