KALAMAZOO--色色啦 Michigan University's student-run radio station, WIDR 89.1 FM, will welcome author, musician, world traveler and punk icon Henry Rollins to town the evening of Wednesday, March 21, making Kalamazoo one of just two Midwest stops on his The Long March spoken-word tour.

The show, which is part of WIDR's 60th anniversary celebration, will begin at 8 p.m. at the Kalamazoo State Theatre, 404 S. Burdick St. Tickets are $30 for floor seats and $25 for all others, and are available at the or through . Proceeds will go to WIDR to help fund operational costs and future projects.

While economic uncertainty and political upheaval define the global landscape on a broad scale, fans can expect Rollins to bring the human, and often humorous, side to light during The Long March. He will share stories from the road less traveled--one that took him through North Korea, Mongolia, Bhutan, Vietnam, India, Tibet, Sudan, Uganda, Haiti and Cuba.
