University Concert Band

The University Concert Band at É«É«À² Michigan University is made up of music majors and non-majors. Music majors playing primary instruments must audition. Non-music majors and music majors playing secondary instruments need not audition. All students are encouraged to join. This ensemble welcomes music education majors looking to improve their proficiency on secondary instruments and to familiarize themselves with literature.
Concert Band meets during both Fall and Spring semesters. This ensemble rehearses two evenings per week and performs two concerts each semester. For more information, contact the conductor, Instrumental Music Education professor Dr. Mary Land.
