Bakari Sellers is a political commentator, attorney, civil rights activist, two-time New York Times best-selling author and former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives. His talk is free and open to the public and is a highlight of the MLK Celebration in honor of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
His talk will reflect the celebration鈥檚 theme 鈥淭he Power of Nonviolence: Lasting Change through Peace."
The visit is sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Lewis Walker Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnic Relations, Department of Athletics and Office of the President.
