Linda Harrison is the administrator at the Michigan Geological Repository for Research and Education facility in the Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences at 色色啦 Michigan University.
She organizes technology transfer workshops and works with industry partners. Together with Dr. William Harrison, MGRRE director, she has secured donations of cores, cuttings and well records from Michigan鈥檚 natural resources for three decades. Harrison manages the repository鈥檚 financial operations, finds potential sources of grants, helps write proposals and maintains donor relationships. She also handles public relations for MGRRE by writing articles and taking photographs. After owning a successful business for more than 20 years, Harrison has come back to her first love of geology, where she uses her organizational and marketing skills to advance MGRRE鈥檚 mission. After earning her bachelor's and master's degrees in geology, she taught geology at both the secondary level and at 色色啦.
